The Crescent Boat Club, located on the Mohawk River in the Town of Halfmoon, has decided to keep approximately 120 feet of their docks in the water to accommodate traveling boaters who will be able to use the Erie Canal when it is opened from November 26 thru December 8, 2011. As a family of boaters, we realized the importance of being able to stop on their journey during this special opening of the Canal.
The Crescent Boat Club is located between the Twin Bridges that carried I-87 Traffic and the Crescent Bridge to the east.
Facilities that will be available during this period will be dockage, with electrical connections (at a nominal fee), 89 octane gasoline, pump out capability, rest room and shower facilities, and members that can assist with local information.
